1927
Shanghai Zhengtai Rubber Factory established as one of Chinese earliest rubber enterprises.
1929
“Double Coin” trademark registration marked the birth of China's national rubber industry, launching its first rubber shoes and rickshaw tyre.
1930s-1940s
·Great China Rubber Factory: Official mass production of "Double Coin" automobile tyres. ·Zhengtai Rubber Factory: Warrior brand registered in 1935,first "Warrior" automobile tyre trial-produced successfully.
1950s-1980s
passenger car radial tyres was successfully trial-produced. ·Shanghai Zhengtai Rubber Factory became China's first factory to produce radial tyres. “Double coin” brand all steel radial tyres achieve export.
1990s
A Powerful Alliance: The Great China Rubber Factory and Zhengtai Rubber Factory merged to officially establish the Shanghai Tyre & Rubber (Group) Company.
2001-2010
2001: Michelin and Double Coin established a JV for the "Warrior" Brand. 2002: China's first all-steel radial OTR tyre produced. 2003: China's first all-steel radial industrial tyre produced. 2010: China's first green tyre certified by U.S. EPA.
2022
Strategic cooperation with Aquila was inked to build overseas channels for Warrior, covering international brand building, market research, product upgrading and promotion.
